The air conditioning unit from the hotel across the street! Thor thought is was cool. We have a habit of always getting the room with the air conditioning units, but the helipad? Hardly ever! So if they need to transport someone via copter - we get a really awesome view!
They say we have a view of the Alamo....found it!
In the second photo look up and center. There is a clump of trees...see it? Right under the red tile roof and above the shadow. Third photo- that clump of trees is the Alamo. More on it later.
While walking around I had to use the "facilities", if you know what I mean. I walked into the conference center and went into the stall. The first thing that caught my eye was how askew the seat cover dispenser was screwed into the door, didn't they have a level? Wow.
Then as I went to take a piece of tissue -sproing!- the roll went flying! Oy! Oh well.
All is not bad, check out some of these other great views from around the hotel and conference center. Fabulous!

I love these pictures! You'll always understand the term "Remember the Alamo" now!
Thanks Robyn, I value your opinion! I love that I walked out on a public balcony, about 5 stories up, and someone had taken advantage of the little nuts they found and aligned them along the railing like naked Hershey kisses!
I was in San Antonio last spring! Loved it! Could live there! Great pics!
You taking pictures In the "facilities" is going to pop my stitches!!!
Mel San Antonio is pretty cool, I am diggin' all the old churches and facades, the buildings are just fabulous!
Pea, I was hoping no one would walk in there! I don't know where the photo of the seat covers went! I'm kind of bummed (no pun intended!) It was totally crooked!
I just can't get over how hilarious it is that you took a picture while you were using the bathroom -- a true blogger through and through!
or just tacky! ; )
