You need to send me the photos of the mirror wall that you took for me. It was one of my favorite parts of the exhibit! In fact I'm toying with the idea of doing that on a wall in the new place!
Yolanda, I have to tell you, we were on such a crunched timetable I forgot to get the gory details on any of the artists...yes, I am HORRID! I feel really guilty, because this is one of the 7 deadly sins for me. Ugh. I will try to find out and let you know.
(Going into the sack clothe and ash box....tossing on self and humbley crawling towards the door)
Yo, actually this iece was just a gynormous hunk of wood or whateve the base was with tiny square mirrors all over it...Like Chronicler says, you could actually replicate this very easily. And much "cheaper" than having an artist do the work for you.
I'm seriously considering doing just that...I have a huge canvas I did in my garage of my rendition of a "Jackson Pollock-like" piece...I LOVE it!! It adds a splash of color...This would be just as spectacular, in a different medium...
Keep up your travels...I love to see where they take you!!
Just an ordinary gal trying to get from there and back again. These are some of our family favourites, hope you like them too.
Some of the recipes don't have photos; I'll add photos next time I make the recipe, k?

alas I am too late. : (
The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden was where the exhibit "was". yikes. It has moved on.
I am shamed.
Please don't let this happen again...for until I can be the designated traveler, my artistic visions must be captured and documented via YOU...
I still love you though...(despite the vacant space that will be on the wall in my new home...sigh...)
LOL!!!
