These from a program held on the steps of the City Hall to remember the events of 9-11, and also to honour a fallen police officer that was shot in the line of duty just last week (delivering a subpeona to appear in a divorce case.). Precious pictures. That one with the the piece of steel really touched me. What a sad day. I cried all day about it. It still feel so fresh.
Melissa, I think we can all feel that way... and probably will for some time. Perhaps it is a good thing to remember so vividly so that we never forget what it is that makes the United States the best country on the planet.
