Again I love your photos...absolutely amazing...you do such a great job on documenting this trip and I know because I have recently taken this trip and have taken my wife on this trip 3 times now... we have even hiked the Amboy Crater. The picture of the road runners retreat is where I got the idea to name our trailer that. anyways thanks again

These are beautiful photos. What kind of lens were you using? Different for different shots I am assuming? Curious.

Thanks Huck! Your comments mean the most to me! I'm glad I could capture it in a way that keeps good memories for all of us. Love and hugs to the Beautiful Lady and the Little Buckeroo!

Boy Mom, you are tooo generous, but thanks!

Real Mom, no tricks up my sleeves! I have a point and shoot camera, a Kodak P350 (I think, I'm too pooped to check it for sure) any who, sometimes the natural light helps, sometimes it makes the shot almost miserable to look at! But I do have a program that allows me to adjust the saturation in the photo for publishing, so that's how I get the B/W, and the dull muted colours. The natural light with a negative saturation, does that make sense? Frankly, I point and shoot about three times the photos I really like and save.

Oh I forgot I was going to tell you the shot of the lichen is un-retouched and it doesn't come close to showing the true vibrancy of the colours on that rock! Absolutely breathtaking. I saw the lichen from the car! It was the first thing I walked towards amazing colour!
