There aren't many things I enjoy more than sitting by the side of a pond watching ducks. Considering that there is 2 1/2 feet or more of snow everywhere sitting at my computer enjoying your pictures is the next best thing.
Love the birds. Not seeing much around here.Afew chicadees but, they are so quick it's hard to get a photo.Every year when I go to the food show in N.Y.city we try to keep track of the red-tail hawks that have set up residence in the city. Always amazes me how they have adapted.I guess we humans could take a lesson from them.
Ah Real Mom! Actually for this set of photos the birds were pretty relaxed so I was actually pretty close to them already, not too many on zoom here. And as far as my camera, well it's not the greatest, but it's the best I could afford:
Kodak EasyShare P850 5.1 mega pixels/12xIS
I am not to hip to the lingo, so for me all that means: aim and shoot, pretty much all automatic, which sometimes makes it more difficult to get a close up.
Just an ordinary gal trying to get from there and back again. These are some of our family favourites, hope you like them too.
Some of the recipes don't have photos; I'll add photos next time I make the recipe, k?

That goose is adorable! He looks like something right out of Beatrix Potter.
Boy Mom, hilarious!
Hobbit, they fascinate me too!
He/she? had that little piece of grass sticking out of his beak as he walked all over the place, looking cool.
Love the photos! What kind of camera are you using? You are getting in so close! Love it.

Hope that helped!
