Getting a head start on the big day

I had to do it. I had to change the old Christmas wreaths to something more seaside; something with shells. So this is the new format: shells, pearls, starfish, some "coral", and my favorite kiwi green coloured balls. I like it, hope everyone else does too!

Thanks all! Yup I give up on snowy and chill...we're going for the typical SoCal Christmas...beachy and warm!

That starfish gives it just the right finishing touch! Looks like something I'd have to pay over $100 for at some schmanzy department store - great work!

Thanks Pea and Sarah! The starfish actually is styrofoam. I worried about a real starfish getting funky in the rain, so I carved this one out of a block of the good ol' white stuff. If you look too close you can tell, but from the street I think it will work well.

All of it was reworked old decorations from the shed out back. So thanks to all for the nice complements.

Yikes and geewillikers! I am not a good person in the cold! So from now on...you may have any and all snow that comes my way! Please! Take it! Thank you!
